My Fantastic and Near-Friendly Comment Policy
First and foremost, know this: I appreciate your contribution.
Your comment–whether brutal or benign, small or large–to any of my posts is a huge asset to me.
See, I gauge part of Fallen and Flawed’s success by the frequency, volume and quality of comments.
That means your voice is part of what dictates the direction of content.
So keep sharing.
What Kind of Comments
Do I Like Best?
Constructive, clear and compelling. But just about anything will do. Honesty rules.
And while I read every comment, I don’t always reply to every comment. I’d love to…yet sometimes workload, family and books demand I don’t.
That means if you have anything really important to share with me, you’re best bet is to email. That way I’ll definitely respond.
The Few “Rules” Behind Comments
Now, I won’t ever delete your comment if you share a different opinion. I welcome criticism. That’s part of the spirit behind Fallen and Flawed.
And I won’t censor your comment if you use profanity in context. I may disemvowel it if it’s excessive…but I won’t delete it.
In extreme cases, however, I will remove personal attackes, abusive behavior and hate speech. To date, that hasn’t happened.
And on occassion I will edit a comment. Usually just to introduce paragraph breaks or create inline links. Which brings me to my next point.
How to Hack the Comments
All standard html code works:
Block quote: <blockquote>Block Quote</blockquote>
Insert inline link: <a href=”insert link”>Fallen and Flawed</a>
Italics: <em>Italics</em>
Bold: <strong>Bold</strong>
Underline: <ul>Underline</ul>
One Last Thing
If your comment does not show up immediately…it may have been flagged as spam and sent to moderation. If that’s the case, I’ll eventually see it and release it. Sometimes it may take a while so wait an hour or a day…and check back.
Take care and drop a comment below or email me if you have any questions or comments.
